ALTIOS International is actively recruiting a Sales Representative (Hospital Sales Representative - Outside Sales) on behalf of their international client, a global leader pharmaceutical laboratory company specializing in injectable products. This position aims to effectively drive the company’s growth in the competitive pharmaceutical market.
Location and Travel:
1. 100% remote, with a focus on the province of Ontario (Candidate must be located in East Ontario)
2. Travelling is expected (1-2 administrative days to start with).
Missions
1. Establish and maintain solid relationships with hospital clients, hospitals and purchasing groups ensuring their needs are met and promoting the company’s injectable products.
2. Ensure excellent customer service to customers, purchasing groups and other partners.
3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration within hospitals.
4. Travel regularly to visit hospitals across the province of Quebec to foster relationships and close sales.
5. Define growing strategies for the products and for potential markets.
6. Analyse market trends to proactively target markets.
7. Present product information clearly and persuasively to hospital staff and decision-makers.
8. Document and prepare quotes for purchasing groups.
9. Provide product information to customers.
10. Perform sales tracking.
11. Participate in budget process.
12. Coordinate marketing efforts on products (promotional material, etc.).
13. Represent company at professional meetings.
14. Get involved in subsidiary implementation.
15. Support team, as required.
16. Execution of related tasks.
Requirements
1. Applicable diploma in administration, sales or marketing (university degree and/or pertinent experience).
2. Strong track record of achieving sales targets with excellent negotiation skills.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in customer account management or related position.
4. Purchasing group quote experience.
5. A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities within the hospital market.
6. Ability to work independently while being results-oriented.
Ideal candidate profile
1. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
2. A strong network within the healthcare sector, particularly with hospitals.
3. Familiarity with injected and generic pharmaceutical products.
