We’re looking for a Graduate Audiologist to join The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join the team here at the Portland Hospital as an Audiologist to assist in the day-to-day running of the Hearing & Balance Department. The post will involve performing paediatric hearing, balance and electrophysiological testing.

Duties & Responsibilities
Hearing assessments for new born to 18 years: Hearing tests, impedance testing and OAEs
CAPD assessments
Working alongside ENT consultants
Assisting Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing & Balance assessments
Balance assessments: VNG, calorics and rotary chair
Electro-physiological testing: ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs & o-VEMPs
Explanation of results, where appropriate
What you'll bring:
MSc or BSc in Audiology
Knowledge of paediatric audiology
Able to work effectively without direct supervision
Good organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to work as part of a team
Good phone manner
