Team
The small but growing easyJet holidays Strategy & Programmes team is at the heart of our rapid growth and value creation plan. Supporting the Holidays Management Board in the delivery of strategic products, creating competitive advantage and driving shareholder value.
Job Purpose
Our Business Analysts are responsible for shaping the requirements across our investment portfolio and working with stakeholders from across the business to help deliver change successfully. Specifically, our Business Analysts are aligned with key exciting strategic Products, they work alongside our Product Owners to ensure successful delivery of our key strategic initiatives.
Job accountabilities
1. Build and maintain a detailed understanding of all aspects of the easyJet holidays business, including our capabilities, processes, systems, products and ways of working.
2. Partner and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Programme Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads, Technical Delivery teams and partners to ensure the successful delivery of our project and product portfolio.
3. Build and maintain understanding of our customers, our brand, our proposition, our place in the external market and identify any gaps where we could explore opportunities for growth.
4. Responsible for gathering, documenting, analysing and challenging business requirements.
5. Own business requirements from discovery stage through to delivery, ensuring a progressively more detailed level of requirements is documented throughout the lifecycle.
6. Ensure impact on business processes are considered throughout the change lifecycle, and that business areas retain full ownership of respective processes.
7. Be the conduit between the Product Owner and technical implementation team for the lifecycle of the Product.
8. Identify, report and help to mitigate risk.
9. Use your judgement and analytical skills to help resolve complex business challenges and problems.
10. Support the identification, measurement and validation of benefits.
11. Develop excellent relationships with stakeholders across your assigned projects.
12. Contribute to the ongoing creation and continuous improvement of our internally developed delivery approach.
Key skills
1. Knowledge of how websites are structured including integration with content management systems (CMS), aligning technical architecture with business goals.
2. Demonstrable experience of close collaborative working with PO and other web delivery team roles (designers, developers and architects) and wider stakeholders and business owners.
3. Good analytical skills (process mapping, competitor analysis, data analysis etc).
4. Experience of writing requirements using JIRA and Behaviour Driven Development methods.
5. Ability to understand business processes as well as system integrations and architecture.
6. Experience in challenging, shaping and developing ideas to align with business strategy, customer needs and market / regulatory requirements.
7. Good analytical skills (ability to conduct root cause analysis, map as is / to be processes, conduct gap analysis, understand market trends, opportunities and document these as requirements).
8. Demonstrable experience of applying agile requirements techniques (such as Behavioural Driven Development).
9. Good relationship management skills with experience of working with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
10. Travel industry, holidays company or an equivalent industry experience would also be highly desirable.

Location and Hours of work
This full-time role working 40 hours per week. The role will be based at our Luton offices. Our hybrid working model allows our teams to work in a way that balances flexibility and the need for collaboration. A typical working week would see our people working from home 2 days a week.
