Job description:
We have an opportunity for a Junior ADM Technician to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using a variety of rapid prototyping technologies. You will work closely with design engineers to create prototype parts for Wind Tunnel testing and the full-size race car. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Principal Accountabilities:
* Operate 3D printers and other rapid prototyping equipment.
* Finishing of motorsport components across all additive technologies including cleaning, sanding, and blasting.
* Be enthusiastic and motivated to learn and be developed in areas such as programming.
* Collaborate with design engineers to produce RP parts for Wind Tunnel testing.
* Maintain the workflow of the rapid prototyping department.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues and make repairs as they arise with supervision from senior team members.
* Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Monitor and report on project progress, particularly related to RP builds.
* Work with design teams and engineers to determine material specifications and requirements.
* Support and assist the ADM department to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements
* Experience working in an ADM department (Motorsports is preferable).
* Engineering Operative/Technician Qualification Level 2 or above (or similar).
* A broad knowledge across multiple ADM technologies.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design engineers.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
