SALARY: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Campaign Officer with proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms, strong copywriting, editing, proofing and verbal communication skills. Working as the Marketing and Communications Campaign Officer you will develop and deliver effective marketing and communication campaigns, content and deliverables for the organisation.
As the Marketing and Communications Campaign Officer you will enhance the organisation’s brand presence and engage their diverse audiences. Working collaboratively with a variety of audiences, internal and external teams, you will deliver engaging campaigns across all marketing and communication platforms to both B2B and B2C markets.
DUTIES
1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and websites to engage and inform target audiences in line with strategic plans as set by the Group Marketing Manager.
2. Social Media Management: Oversee the Group social media channels, creating engaging posts, responding to inquiries, and monitoring key metrics to continually increase social presence.
3. Website Maintenance & Development: Working in collaboration with the wider teams, maintain the Group websites to ensure accuracy of information, up to date and relevant content and implementing any development requirements.
4. Events: Collaborate with the wider teams to support the delivery and effective promotion of Group events and activities.
5. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and audience preferences, utilising insights to inform marketing strategies.
6. Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications initiatives, using metrics to drive improvements.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, industry partners, and media outlets to foster collaboration and enhance visibility.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience in marketing communications, preferably within the higher education or creative industries.
2. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
3. Strong copywriting, editing, proofing and verbal communication skills.
4. Skilled in content creation and management.
5. Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Understanding of Higher Education and Short Course training market.
7. IT Literate (CRM systems, MS Teams & Office, emails, internet & social media use).
8. Ability to work autonomously (with direction).
9. Exceptional eye for detail.
10. A friendly professional manner and appearance.
11. Proactive approach to problem solving.
12. Self-motivated, ambitious and results orientated with an ability to thrive under pressure.
13. Strong interpersonal skills and experience of dealing directly with a wide variety of people.
14. Flexible approach to working, excellent time management skills.
