As a Receptionist at HealthHarmonie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our healthcare services.
Main duties of the job
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Greeting patients and visitors, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
* Keeping the reception area clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times
* Accurately inputting patient details into the patient information system to maintain patient records
* Assessing and prioritising patient referrals based on urgency and medical need
* Contacting patients to schedule appointments
* Scanning and attaching referrals to the patient's file for easy accessibility
* Setting up the examination rooms for clinicians
Work Schedule and Location
* The reception will need covering 3 days a week
* Working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday
* Working hours 8.30am - 5pm
* Base location: Two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) at Townlands Memorial Hospital, York Rd, Henley-on-Thames RG9 2DR, and Saturdays at Royal Berkshire Hospital, London Rd, Reading RG1 5AN

* Prior reception and administration experience is preferable; however, we welcome applicants who display a strong passion for providing high-quality care and take pride in their work, and we will invest in your training accordingly.
Experience
* Must have a driving license and own vehicle to visit the multiple sites.
* The selected individual will undergo fire safety training since they will be responsible for serving as the fire marshal.
* Before commencing your role, you must fulfill legal eligibility requirements to work with us, including a successful disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation during the interview stage.
* Your training will begin with a corporate induction followed by shadowing an experienced team member, ensuring you gain the necessary skills and knowledge for the role. Full attendance during the training period is essential.
