We help all LGBT people achieve their full potential and aim to be 'here if you need us,’ living by our hashtag EqualityWins.Launched by Sir Ian McKellen in June 2019, the Pride in Ageing programme was set up by the LGBT Foundation to address concerns that too many lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people over the age of 50 are living in isolation and facing discrimination. We are now looking for two part-time Sessional Pride in Ageing Group Facilitators to help launch the Pride in Ageing programme in Liverpool. The official launch will be in April 2025 and will be the first regular event programme to be established outside of Greater Manchester. What You’ll Be Doing As a Sessional Pride in Ageing Group Facilitator, you’ll be delivering monthly activity group sessions for over 50s in Liverpool as part of the Pride in Ageing programme.Specifically, you will create safe, welcoming spaces for members of the LGBTQ community to support interaction, build social networks and individual confidence and develop skills.
