Description As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing client credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments, and minimising bad debt exposure. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to maintain accurate financial records, resolve payment issues, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage outstanding balances, ensuring prompt collection of overdue payments. Conduct credit assessments and set appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer account records. Follow up on outstanding debts via phone, email, and letter. Negotiate and implement payment plans for customers facing financial difficulties. Work with legal teams to escalate overdue accounts when necessary. Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring all payments are correctly allocated. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries efficiently. Prepare and present reports on overdue accounts, bad debts, and cash flow to the finance team. Provide insights and analysis on payment trends and customer credit risk. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues. Ensure seamless billing and invoicing processes in collaboration with the finance team. Ensure adherence to company credit policies and procedures. Comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements related to credit control. Key Requirements Proven experience in a Credit Controller, Debt Collector, or similar role. Strong understanding of credit management and collection procedures. Requirements Additional Requirements Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
