About the role
Our creative Visual Merchandising team are looking for a VM Assistant Manager to support VM Manager to deliver elevated, inspiring & commercial product presentation in all retail channels through all aspects of store visual merchandising display and customer communication. Ensuring our brand values & expertise are communicated with confidence throughout the retail landscape via covetable VM.
Key Accountabilities
• To provide consistent expertise or our VM expectations across the Retail estate, ensuring elevated & stylish standards of product presentation. Including being the guardian for clear and concise communication and organisation.
• Have good understanding of company sales budgets and retail KPIS and the impact of effective VM on these.
• Actively seek out better ways of working, new equipment, display ideas, and bring to the table regularly to ensure we are constantly moving things on
• Support franchise and wholesale partners with requirements where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure alongside VM Manager & creative teams that company marketing campaigns are showcased to full potential in stores including regular and clear communication.
• Maintain up to date data regarding fundamental VM assets and elements in every retail site.
• Create and maintain a sound and supportive relationships across Retail Area & Store Managers as well as, Marketing, Buying, Franchise and Wholesale, Merchandising and Store Development to ensure execution of all VM principles is consistent and effective
• Alongside VM Manager and Marketing team coordinate production and delivery of all customer facing store POS for all trading activity in conjunction with the company trading calendar.
• Regularly spend time in stores, stepping back and review our shopping experience through the eyes of our customer.
• Where required support the set-up of in store VM to use as guidance, new store openings & showrooms for any partner range reviews.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Passionate about fashion, product, brand and retail
• A sound understanding of current VM trends and methods.
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Excellent organisational skills
• A keen eye for detail with a creative flair
• An energetic & resilient personality with a proactive 'can do' attitude
• Willing to travel when required
Desired:
• Experience of creating VM tools and material from inception to production
* Fashion / Styling qualifications
* Experience in:
* CAD
* In Design
* Photoshop
