We're recruiting a PL Inclusion Coach, who'll deliver across our Kicks, Disability and women’s & girls provision. Kicks delivers diversionary and positive activities on behalf of the PLCF. Working across areas and groups of deprivation and need across three key strands of disability, inclusion and female football. The candidate will need to have knowledge, experience and understanding of representing a large organisation, being aware of all aspects that RFCCT & Reading Football Club represent. Have experience working across all levels from grassroots to prestigious events where you will deliver sessions, workshops and presentations to support RFCCT and its community cohesion.
Location: Venues in and around Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire, Bracknell and Windsor.

Job Purpose:
To follow the Trust's Safeguarding and EDI policies and procedures, with the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults being of paramount importance.
To uphold the Trust's Sustainability Policy and make every effort to make good sustainable choices (outlined in the policy).
Main Duties:
* Delivering coaching sessions during unsociable hours across our Kicks, Female Kicks and Women/Girls provisions.
* Liaising with line manager regarding session success and considerations to improve participation and quality of experience to participants.
* Working with key charitable partners across practical delivery to help supervise and mentor young people and volunteers.
* Promoting participation in PL Kicks activities; encouraging vulnerable & targeted young people in the community and in schools.
* Developing an understanding of how highly regarded The PL Kicks Brand is to young people and delivering to a high level on their expectations.
* Ability to deal with challenging behaviour and follow correct reporting and referral procedures.
* Delivering an inclusive programme of diversionary activities & educational workshops for young people with a variety of needs.
* Identifying and attending continuous professional development courses appropriate to Kicks delivery.
* Understanding The FA's Disability Pathway and local County FA provisions.
* Highlighting and signposting participants into a number of agreed exit routes across appropriate provisions.
* Leading on promotion of our services and products available to the general public.
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Trustees.
* Assisting with the bookings of school-based projects, writing reports and coordinating a monitoring and evaluation system.

The successful candidate will need to be passionate about and committed to the development of participants of all academic and playing abilities. You must be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to deliver dynamic and challenging coaching sessions, which inspire young people and ensure they make rapid and sustained progress. Candidates need to demonstrate they can provide clarity, direction and inspiration within the community programme.
Candidates must have a clear understanding of safeguarding and procedures around diversity groups to ensure safe inclusion on the issues faced by young people within targeted areas including disability and young women.
It is essential that candidates can communicate with staff, participants and partners in a clear and purposeful way to build effective relationships. Candidates must demonstrate hard work and high standards, providing evidence of seeking ways to improve individual and team performance.
Candidates must have a current driving licence and understand that the role requires significant evening and weekend commitment. As this role involves direct access to young persons under the age of eighteen, the successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and will need to have a First Aid in Sport qualification before taking up the role.
