Job Purpose
:
Reporting to the Business Development Director the Marketing Manager has a key strategic role in shaping and delivering the company’s marketing vision. Working collaboratively across departments, this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with our growth ambitions and Business plan.
The primary focus will be on enhancing brand visibility, generating high-quality leads, and creating meaningful engagement through a range of targeted marketing channels. By combining creativity with commercial insight, the Marketing Manager helps to amplify our brand’s impact, increase web traffic, and ultimately contribute to the long-term success of a business.
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s marketing strategy
2. Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that showcase our generator solutions and reflect the trust and quality our people bring to every customer interaction.
3. Champion and protect the Power Electrics brand, building recognition and trust across multiple sectors through consistent messaging, tone, and visual identity - We Bring Energy!
4. Develop and implement a UX strategy to enhance digital experiences across all touchpoints—ensuring our website, campaigns, and communications are user-focused, accessible, on message and impactful.
5. Source and manage relationships with external agencies to support creative, digital, and strategic execution where required.
6. Manage the marketing budget to ensure an efficient, high impact spend with a clear return on investment.
7. Lead internal and external communications, reflecting our EOT culture, strengthening employee engagement, and building customer trust.
8. Continuously review and develop the full marketing mix including SEO, PPC Video, and other channels—to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
9. Conduct research into target industries and competitors, identifying market trends and areas for strategic advantage.
10. Strengthen customer advocacy by designing campaigns that tell compelling stories, highlight team expertise, and deepen customer relationships.
11. Monitor and improve customer satisfaction using Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other feedback tools—using insights to inform campaign direction and UX improvements.
12. Provide regular updates to the Board and leadership team with meaningful reporting and data analysis.
13. Lead, mentor, and develop a small marketing team, fostering a creative, collaborative, and empowered working environment where ideas thrive.
Relationships and Roles
14. Lead regular Marketing Team meetings (including cross-functional collaboration with department heads from time to time) to align strategy, share insights, and drive action.
15. Champion internal communication, transparency, and innovation across the organization—building strong relationships that reflect our values as an employee-owned business.
16. Work collaboratively across departments to ensure marketing supports both commercial and operational goals.
17. Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, creativity, and continuous improvement, encouraging input from across the team.
18. Deliver presentations, briefings, and updates to internal teams, senior leadership, and the board.
Skills and Experience
19. University degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related field.
20. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing environment.
21. Strong understanding of the generator or similar industrial product marketplace is highly desirable.
22. Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop a team to deliver measurable outcomes.
23. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in storytelling and stakeholder engagement.
24. Solid experience across the full marketing mix, including digital strategy, UX, content, analytics, and campaign delivery.
25. Strong grasp of online marketing concepts, tools, and best practices (e.g. SEO, PPC, social, email).
26. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
27. Organized, enthusiastic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for people and purpose-led business.
28. Motivated and driven, with the ability to proactively initiate, lead, and drive workstreams that deliver strategic value.
29. Comfortable collaboration and influencing effectively at all levels of the organization.
