The Technology Operations department is responsible for ensuring the availability and stability of the Aegon Platform on a 24/7, 365-day basis. Incident, Change, Problem, Business Continuity, Risk, and Licence management processes are used to control the multiple platform environments while enabling a dynamic and flexible IT service. The purpose of this role is to provide solid Technology Service Management capability in line with the defined departmental strategy, ultimately providing business assurance and system stability while ensuring clear supplier accountability. This role is crucial for overseeing production services and acts as the primary contact for escalations, ensuring the business maintains a stable service through extensive stakeholder engagement. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Service Management Expertise: Strong background in Service Operation, Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management within a large-scale technology environment, preferably Financial Services. ITIL Processes: Detailed knowledge of ITIL and its application in IT Service Management. Stakeholder Management: Strong skills to manage business behaviours, with excellent communication skills to foster communication between Technology and the wider organisation. Analytical Skills: Ability to define, introduce, and improve processes to support the Technology platform. Change and Risk Management: Understanding within a complex operational environment. Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to adapt and multitask in high-pressure, high-availability settings. On-Call Availability: Willingness to provide out-of-hours support per team rota.
