We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager to join our NZ Fibre Packaging sales team. This role will be based at our Hastings site and manage a large portfolio of existing customers across a territory stretching from Gisborne down to Wellington and from Hastings across to Taranaki. Within the portfolio, there are some significant accounts in the meat/protein industry. The role will focus primarily on managing existing customer accounts, but also have an expectation around generating new business.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
* Developing productive relationships with your customers and focusing on growing sales and building margins by increasing share of wallet or value engineering
* Seeking out opportunities to develop new business opportunities
* Being technically minded and wanting to learn about our product and the way it’s manufactured
* Having the ability to work with customers at any level within an organisation
* Developing and delivering customer solutions

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have:
* Demonstrated account management experience where you have grown share of wallet with an existing customer portfolio

* B2B solution selling experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
* The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and customer projects concurrently
* Resilience, plenty of energy, and lots of enthusiasm
