Summary
NRL are currently looking to recruit an Associate Structural Engineer to work for a client of ours working in the nuclear industry on a permanent basis based in Warrington.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage structural engineering projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Conduct detailed structural analysis and design, including seismic and stress analysis, to ensure robust engineering solutions.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and calculations to uphold accuracy and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to integrate structural engineering solutions within overall project requirements.
Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to clients and senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and standards pertinent to nuclear structural engineering.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, methodologies, and processes within the organisation.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
