Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our residents in making the best use of PA Housing stock by guiding them through various housing options such as mutual exchange, downsizing schemes, and transfers. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, working directly with residents and external agencies to maintain a high standard of service. This is a fixed term contract running until 31st October 2025. Your responsibilities Deliver Tailored Solutions: Provide innovative and personalised housing solutions to help residents move to more suitable homes. Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of residents seeking to move, conducting home visits and property inspections, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating with Lettings Coordinators and other teams. Facilitate Transfers and Exchanges: Promote, identify, and facilitate internal and external transfers, including decants, and mutual exchanges. Support residents throughout the process, utilising tools such as CBL systems, and liaising with Registered Providers and Local Authorities. Partnerships and Advice: Collaborate with Local Authorities and Lettings Coordinators to deliver joint interest under-occupation schemes, provide high-quality advice to residents under-occupying their homes, and stay updated on current initiatives to assist them. Data and Promotion: Collect and use under-occupation data, manage mutual exchanges, ensure IT and external records (like CORE) are updated, and promote under-occupation and mutual exchange schemes to PA residents. Budget Monitoring and Support: Develop systems to monitor under-occupation mutual exchange budget expenditures, report on value for money, and support the Lettings and Housing Moves team by resolving queries with maintenance contractors, Local Authorities, and applicants. Safeguarding and Projects: Prioritise the welfare of children and vulnerable adults by ensuring their safety, sharing information appropriately, and adhering to safeguarding policies. Participate in projects and cross-team collaborations to enhance PA Housing services and promote resident involvement. Our ideal candidate Educational Background: GCSE/A Level or equivalent in English and Mathematics. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Housing. Relevant Experience: Experience in private residential property management, welfare services, or social housing is advantageous. Knowledge: Understanding of landlord and tenant responsibilities related to various types of tenure and legislation. Work Experience: Proven track record of managing complex administrative processes with a high degree of responsibility and achieving successful outcomes.
