About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Early Years, Childcare and School Readiness Service to recruit two Early Childhood Education Qualification Tutors due to the retirement of colleagues in our well-established team.
Our Qualifications Centre is dedicated to delivering high-quality education to learners starting or progressing their career in the Early Years sector. We are seeking Tutors who are passionate about professional development in the Early Years.
As an Early Childhood Education Qualifications Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering NCFE CACHE accredited qualifications with face-to-face observations and assessments of individual learners across Cambridgeshire. The role involves course teaching, managing your diary, driving to various locations throughout Cambridgeshire to carry out assessments in the workplace, conducting online discussions with learners working towards qualifications and using our OneFile e-portfolio system to log and track learner work.
Each post is being offered on a permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The post is a mobile post, offering flexible working opportunities and will involve a mixture of work from home, our office based in Sunley House (Papworth Everard) and out at settings within Cambridgeshire (a car and driving licence will be required).
Interview date: Thursday 13 February 2025
