Job Description
BBH is looking for a Financial Controller to manage the Financial Reporting Team, control and compliance, and to continue reviewing processes around Altair (SAP) as well as continually challenging the ways things have been done.
The FC needs to see the big strategic picture of where the wider business is going, risks and opportunities in the business, and report and manage accordingly. The FC needs to be the visible face of Finance within the business, seen as a business partner in supporting management and someone who should be listened to when enforcing procedures.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for timely and accurate preparation and reporting of Actual results, Forecast and Budgets to Publicis Groupe, with clear commentary.
2. Responsible for internal reporting to BBH management, P&L, Balance Sheet and Trade Working Capital. Summarised, clear, concise information to be presented to management.
3. Overall responsibility for the business processes and control environment, Altair workflow and the Altair environment. Ensuring Altair supports the BBH business and that BBH staff adhere to agreed, required processes around Altair, setting and maintenance of authority levels etc.
4. Responsible for ensuring Finance procedures are fit for purpose and policies are in line with Publicis Groupe policies. Finance Policies and Procedures to be documented, up to date, and available on the intranet/Finance folders.
5. Responsibility for forecasting and reporting payroll costs to the business.
6. Report and forecast Trade Working Capital. The Commercial Finance team and Head of Billing will be responsible for inputs in this area (Trade Debtors and Work in progress) but the FC will be responsible for direction, monitoring and reporting upon these areas.
7. Responsible for Treasury, Forex Hedging and payments of Expenses and Suppliers.
8. Responsible for management of External and Internal Audits. Responsible for reviewing statutory accounts and taxation supported by ReSources.

1. Qualified accountant with experience in a similar FC role.
2. BBH's aim is to hire "nice and good".

4. Someone collaborative with a fresh perspective, who will build relationships and support and challenge the wider business.
5. Able to demonstrate attention to detail but importantly to see the big picture.
6. Experience of SAP and Hyperion or other large ERP systems.
7. Experience of working in a large, international Group.
8. Experience of working with a Shared Service Centre.
