Exciting New Sales Role Sales Manager Trafford Park, Manchester Permanent Basis £40,000 to £45,000 plus bonus Full-time - 37.50 hours per week. Hybrid working Free Parking This is an opportunity to join a global company who are opening their first office in the UK. Based at Trafford Park - Manchester, you will be one of the first sales staff to join the UK team and expand their reach within the market. This company is both a manufacturer and marketer of a wide range of products; they process ingredients for the food, cosmetics, feed and pet food, coatings and construction industries. The role would suit someone who is enthusiastic and thrives in a new business sales environment where they have to be proactive to find and convert leads into sales through a consultative approach. You will be developing business through phone, email, social media and face to face interactions. Some duties will involve: Building your new client base within the UK through strong, lasting relationships. Understanding the market to provide insights to clients. You will attend trade fairs to raise brand awareness and secure new leads. Liaise with Head Office on business updates and trends. Collaborating with the sales support team to meet and exceed targets. You will be both office and field based within this role due to the expectations to meet with clients to create new orders, service and review. You will have full back-office support from Head Office. What you bring: FMCG B2B experience is essential for this role. A flair for connecting with people and a passion for sales. Confidence, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. Great negotiation skills. Flexibility to travel initially within the Northwest however nationally as the business becomes established.
