Key Responsibilities:
* Representing as the lead advisor on public transport matters in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
* Liaising with the West of England Combined Authority to support high-level plans and initiatives to enhance public transport provision in accordance with the Local Transport Plan and Bus Strategy
* Collaborating with bus operators and external partners to ensure effective delivery of transport services to all community sectors to foster increased public transport usage
* Supporting the negotiation of public transport contributions from new developments for bus services and/or infrastructure
* Developing and securing support for proposals to improve public transport offerings and drafting and presenting reports to inform decision-making
Job Requirements:
* Experience in transportation management or a related field
* Strong understanding of public transport dynamics and stakeholder management
* Proficiency in developing and implementing transport strategies
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, bus operators, and the community
* Strong organisational and project management skills
