An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Award Winning Fundraising Community and Events Team as a Community Fundraiser. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, outgoing individual with hands on experience in community fundraising.
The successful candidate will have events, community and/or fundraising experience and be educated to degree level or equivalent. Excellent project planning, interpersonal, communication and written skills together with good IT skills are essential for this post. Attention to detail in carrying out a range of administrative tasks is crucial, as is the ability to work flexibly as part of a small team. Experience of Raiser's Edge would be an advantage although training will be provided if necessary. A full driving licence is required and evening/weekend working is frequently required., The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland Check. Erskine must raise over £10 million in voluntary income per year and this role plays an important part in achieving that goal. This role is part of our vibrant Community & Events Team, working to maximise all forms of income and potential income for Erskine by targeting organisations, groups & associations, individuals and authorities within the designated focus area. The post holder will act as a motivator and support to help facilitate activity by volunteers and fundraisers, inspiring and stewarding them to generate the greatest return in support of our Veterans.
