Keystream have a contract opportunity for a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for providing excellent IT support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the IT Service Desk.
About The Role
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions to IT issues. You will troubleshoot, install, and configure software, maintain IT hardware inventories, and manage user accounts and access.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide IT support via the service desk, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience for users.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues.
* Manage IT stock levels and maintain accurate records.
* Administer user accounts and support the Starter and Leavers process.
* Support the Voice over IP telephony system.
* Use remote access tools (TeamViewer, Zenworks, Halo) to assist users.
* Monitor and maintain the smartcard system.
* Log and track support requests using Halo ITSM.
About You
* Experience providing 1st and 2nd line IT support.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment while managing user expectations.
Details
* The role is paying £130 per day (Inside or Outside Ir35).
* The role is based on site 5 days a week near Bexley.
* Starting ASAP for 8 month initial contract.
