We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our ISO9001 registered precision machine shop. A minimum of 1 year experience as an inspector is a must.
Responsibilities:
1. Complete In Process and Final Inspections of precision machined parts.
2. Identify defects in measurements of parts.
3. Inspect and approve parts by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable parts.
4. Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
5. Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
6. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
7. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs.

10. Ability to use various measuring tools including a Micrometer, Vernier, Drop Indicator, and optical inspection equipment.
