Maintenance Engineer - UK only
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work for the Solidor brand. You will be responsible for:
* Complying with all HSE policies and procedures. Ensuring that Engineering records are accurately maintained & presented in a timely manner.
* Implementing & supporting rapid breakdown fault finding & rectification.
* Recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
* Breakdowns, fault finding & repair of complex machinery & ancillaries.
* Initiating improvement in practices, Systems & procedures.
* Mechanical maintenance.
The work may involve extended periods working on the factory floor and to tight deadlines in response to breakdowns/emergencies. A good level of flexibility is required, working shifts, weekends and holiday periods may be required.
You will be working as part of an experienced team and training both on and off site will be provided as required. You will be based out of our brand new multi-million-pound facility based in Meir Park.

Maintenance Engineer Overview
* Always work safely and adhere to site health and safety policies and procedures
* Carry out routine Maintenance work.
* Carry out TPM on all equipment.
* Respond to equipment failures.
* Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly and safely.
* Liaise with suppliers, other engineering and production colleagues.
* Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
* Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
* Ensure there is continuous cover of machinery and equipment
