We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Co-ordinator at St Mary's Catholic High School. In this key support staff role, your core responsibilities will include overseeing student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Departments, form tutors, teachers, internal student services, pastoral and SEN teams, external agencies, parents, governors, and other relevant parties. Your ability to lead on pastoral, social, emotional, and behavioural issues will be crucial in ensuring excellent attendance, punctuality, and behaviour for learning. You will be a proactive team player, ready to contribute significantly to the vibrant and successful Faculty/House and the broader school community.
You do not need to be a practicing Catholic to apply.

Your New Role:
* Manage and ensure the successful delivery of the school's vision for individual student achievement.
* Develop and support a vibrant and successful Faculty/House with the Head of House (AHT).
* Lead on pastoral, social, emotional, and behavioural issues of assigned pupils.
* Ensure excellent attendance, punctuality, and behaviour for learning.
* Monitor pupil achievement in the faculty/house(s).
* Contribute significantly to the community life of the school.
* Support the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the school.
* Liaise with stakeholders to support student welfare and achievement.
