A highly reputable and expanding Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Management Tutor to join the staff of one of their thriving primary schools in Macclesfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners, working on a flexible basis (minimum of 3 days per week, 08:30 am – 15:30 pm).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs to foster a positive learning environment.
2. Develop and implement bespoke behavioural management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
3. Collaborate closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of pupils.
4. Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions to improve engagement, emotional regulation, and resilience.
5. Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting strategies as required to ensure positive outcomes.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a behavioural management, teaching assistant, or similar role within a primary or educational setting.
2. A sound understanding of behavioural management techniques and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality in education.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
4. Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment.
5. A relevant qualification in education, child development, or behavioural support (desirable but not essential).
6. A valid enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake one.
7. Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of the school’s timetable.
