Key Responsibilities: As the Compliance Business Lead, you will provide expert advice and act as a specialist advisor on compliance matters within your area of expertise across the business. You will align effective compliance practices, establish and monitor a compliance strategy with appropriate governance, and ensure procedures and training are in place for colleagues with compliance responsibilities. You will be responsible for embedding legislative requirements in all areas of the business. What We're Looking For: We seek someone who has in-depth, expert knowledge of key compliance-related functions relating to gas, oil, solid fuel, electrical, and renewable heating systems, supported by a broad knowledge and understanding of lift, water hygiene, asbestos management, and fire and life safety systems. Proven experience of managing compliance-related activity at a senior/specialist level is essential for this role, as are specialist qualifications in one of the following areas: Gas Safety Electrical Safety Renewable Technologies Lift Management Asbestos Management Legionella Fire Safety You will be someone who has: A flexible working attitude with time, travel, and demonstrated reliability Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, including emails, MS Teams, and other organisational software applications Ability to use mobile devices, i.e., tablets, smartphones, etc. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping The desire to be a great ambassador for Bromford Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence.
