Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our practice and provide high-quality care to our patients. The Aberfeldy practice is located in Poplar, Tower Hamlets, and currently serves over 13,000 patients. We are a a training practice and consist of a sizeable clinical team, including 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant, and 1 Phlebotomist. Newly qualified HCAs are welcome to apply for this role. Please note this role is 20 hours a week and the exact working days to be discussed at a later stage. Main duties of the job As part of the nursing team, you will work closely with the senior Nurse and the Healthcare Assistant. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of procedures while supporting patients to live healthier lives, including patient health checks, phlebotomy, diabetes and hypertension checks, basic wound care, NHS Health Checks, lifestyle monitoring, ECGs, urine checks, and order consumables and be responsible for stocking up consulting rooms.
