This Bookkeeper job in Bolton is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded firm of accountants with an established presence in the North West.
What are we looking for? You'll have demonstrable bookkeeping experience within practice and a proven track record of supporting clients to the highest standard of service. This role will also include general admin work to support the overall operations of the firm, including assisting with office management and working with colleagues from all departments.
You'll have good working knowledge of using Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks, and you'll have strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving. Attention to detail will be vital for this role, as well as confident and professional communication skills.
Duties include:
* Undertake bookkeeping duties for a broad range of clients.
* Manage client due diligence and money laundering work.
* Prepare disengagements and audit banks letters.
* File statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
* Prepare statutory books, dividend vouchers, and confirmation statements.
* Manage debt collection and time and fees reports.
* Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive working environment.
