This is a great opportunity for a subject matter expert in Health and Safety to join our Safety and Wellbeing team as a Safety Manager to act as an ambassador of Safety as a core value, such that their interactions inspire people across the business to further enable robust food safety & health and safety standards, performance, and culture. This role would suit someone experienced in multisite Health and safety management and implementation in a catering environment.
What you'll be doing...
* To provide proactive, visible, and progressive management of the safety agenda/programme across Elior UK.
* Work across multi layers of stakeholders, actively participate in and contribute towards all areas of the business.
* To support in the design, deploy, manage, and monitor a suitable and sufficient food safety & health and safety programme across Elior UK.
* To support the Safety and Wellbeing team to deliver strong health and safety performance through equipped people committed to doing the right thing, supported by effective processes to enable them to get it right.

* Able to manage multiple projects and quickly adapt to new initiatives.
* Thorough working knowledge of relevant food safety standards and regulations.
* Food safety experience working in hospitality, food service sector, or similar comparable/higher risk sectors.
* Thorough working knowledge of robust incident reporting & investigation.
* Experience with food safety & health and safety management systems and auditing.
* Experience in delivering food safety training.
* As this role requires working at locations across the UK, the successful candidate will be required to drive.
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety Management/Risk Assessment/Accident Investigation or relevant experience.
* IOSH Qualification or equivalent.
* NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent.
* Ability to self-manage and organise.
* Auditing and/or Food Safety Inspection Experience.
* Experience delivering and managing training.

* Train the Trainer accredited with experience.

* Experience of leading and inspiring Regional Managers to deliver HSE results & objectives.
