Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Electrical Project Engineer for a civils contractor in North Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring top-tier safety standards.
2. Assemble, develop, and monitor a competent team.
3. Manage design, procurement, manufacturing, and installation processes.
4. Chair and document internal and external meetings.
5. Support procurement of subcontractor packages.
6. Manage third-party involvement and project risk.
7. Produce reports and maintain documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with O&M manuals, safety agreements, and quality plans.
9. Maintain communication with clients and design teams.
10. Monitor site progress and resolve issues efficiently.
Skills & Knowledge:
1. Strong technical electrical knowledge (IEE or BS 7671 compliance).
2. Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3+, CSCS card, SMSTS).
3. Experience with NEC contracts and water utility projects.
4. Ability to manage construction sites, subcontractors, and budgets.
5. Proficiency in IT and construction planning tools.
6. First Aid certification and CDM regulations knowledge.
