Responsibilities:
1. BP Monitoring
2. Phlebotomy
3. New Patient Health Checks
4. Urinalysis & Preparation of Specimens
5. Vaccine / Cold Chain Storage
6. Surgical Equipment
7. B12 Injections
8. Flu Injections
9. Weight Monitoring
10. Lifestyle Advice and Promotion
11. Wound Dressings
12. Room Stock Management
13. Chaperoning
14. Organising of Sharp Bins, labelling and collection
15. Long Term Condition Reviews
Administration and Professional Responsibilities:
1. Attend and contribute to the Practices Clinical & MDT Meetings
2. Maintain accurate clinical records on SystmOne
3. Ensure all consultations or interventions are documented accurately on the clinical systems templates
4. Maximise data capture for QoF
5. File patient blood results and any correspondence correctly
6. Book appointments, and complete all information to enable enough information is retrieval from the medical records
7. Develop an understanding of the practices appointment system, how to maximise this and use of appointments appropriately
8. Health & Safety Awareness
9. Adhere to strict Confidentiality
10. Participate in annual appraisals and practice training programmes
11. Maintain high quality care within the practice
Other Delegated Duties:
1. Use own judgement, resourcefulness, common sense, and local knowledge
2. Respond to patient enquiries and requests while adhering to practice limitations
3. Ability to work autonomously and determine own workload
4. Understand and accept own capabilities and awareness of own limitations
5. Excellent communication skills
