Part II Architectural Assistant - Canterbury
This Canterbury-based chartered architecture practice is looking for a Part I/ Part II Architect to join their team. This company is associated with conservation architecture in the South East. Their mission is to protect and enhance the buildings in the community.
They are an ARB credited architecture firm, dedicated to collaborating with clients to deliver exceptional service and outstanding building results.They bring together a team of experienced architects, heritage experts, conservation consultants, property specialists, interior designers, and structural engineers to ensure the project is expertly managed from start to finish.
This company is now looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their expanding team. If you have a passion for working on residential, historic buildings, barn and agricultural development, interior architecture, then this is the firm for you.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior architects and designers on a variety of projects
* Assist in developing architectural plans and designs
* Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
* Participate in project meetings and provide creative input
* Conduct research on materials and building techniques
* Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients and submit planning applications
What you'll need to succeed
* Must live 45 minutes within Canterbury - any other applications WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
* AutoCAD experience is essential
* Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work on their own
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and problem - solving abilities
