Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are supporting a construction business based West Oxfordhsire seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on a temporary basis for 8-12 weeks. Please note this is a fully office based role 9-5 (can be flexible with hours) with on site parking. Role Overview: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day processing and recording of company payments. You will support the finance team and occasionally provide back-up to reception. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process all company payments, adhering to deadlines. Assist with recording financial transactions and maintaining comprehensive records. Support monthly supplier payments and company card purchases. Conduct daily bank statement reconciliations. Assist the Finance Director with ad-hoc payments and accounts duties. Core Skills and Attributes: Demonstrates aptitude and a positive, team-centred attitude. Comfortable with intellectual requirements and contributes ideas. Displays honesty, integrity, and diligence in all professional activities. Maintains productivity levels expected of their experience and qualifications. Qualifications and Requirements: Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Diligent, methodical, and adaptable with a professional demeanour. Proficient in Microsoft computer packages and accountancy software. Certificate or above in Accountancy, Finance, or Book-keeping desirable, or proven experience.
