Position: Accounts Technician
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 plus benefits + free parking, 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Pension, Cinema Tickets.
Hybrid set up: 5 days in the office Monday to Friday. (9am-5pm / 35 hour week)

Key responsibilities:
Accounts Production: Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Bookkeeping and VAT Returns: Manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently and handle VAT returns promptly, maintaining up-to-date records for clients.
Tax Compliance: Assist in tax compliance matters, including preparing tax returns and submission.
General Administration: Handle general administrative duties as needed, including correspondence, filing, and client communication.What background and experience are the company looking for?
Previous experience in a similar role within the accountancy field.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
Experience of Xero an advantage however full training will be given
Excellent Customer Service skills, Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards.
