What you will do in your working day
* Apprentice will work in our Reception Unit. They will work under the guidance of Reception Classteachers and will follow plans to work with children to support their learning and social development, They will meet children on arrival, support them at playtime and throughout the lunchtime
* Candidates need to be flexible as duties can change with little notice. They will also deliver small group sessions (training provided) such as phonics, maths and speaking and listening activities
* Candidates will also need to liaise with parents/carers on occasions. They will record significant achievements to the classteacher and will be required to use their initiative
The training you will be getting
Apprentices will get the opportunity to shadow existing staff and to attend training sessions.
There will be on-the-job training for wider development.
Apprentice will receive safegaurding training and comprehensive training to work in a school.
