You will be part of the Group Financial Reporting and Planning Team who are responsible for Group reporting to the Board and external stakeholders, managing all consolidated financial data, and supporting the finance teams across our subsidiaries.

What Will You Be Doing?
Your role will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate management information to the Board to support strategic decision making, and to meet statutory reporting requirements. This will include:
12. Production of group consolidated financial information for Monthly Management Reporting, Group Annual and Interim Financial Statements, and Group Corporate Plan and Quarterly Forecasting.
13. Monitoring group performance against benchmarks, ensuring adherence to accounting policies, and maintaining a robust internal financial controls framework.
14. Maintaining up-to-date documentation of all financial policies, reports, and operational procedures.
15. Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness, to support best practices in financial reporting.
16. Providing continuous development and challenge of the financial data provided by our subsidiaries.
17. Providing technical financial support to the Group, and handling ad-hoc analysis.
What Do We Need From You?
Skills
18. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both within the team and the wider Group.
19. The ability to problem solve and get to the root cause of issues.
20. High level of attention to detail.
21. Good organisational and time management skills.
Knowledge
22. An understanding of current accounting standards, practice and guidance.
23. Knowledge of accounting processes and a good understanding of Group consolidation processes.
Qualifications
24. Degree level education or equivalent and professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
