Female Community Healthcare Assistant
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Shifts:
Monday to Sunday - 08:00 20:30,
Monday - 20:00 08:30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday 19:00 08:30 Thursday, Friday and Saturday 19:00 08:00
Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days £ / Nights £ / Weekends £
As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits healthcare assistants to play a vital role in the care and support our clients receive in the community. You will utilise your expertise, skills, and knowledge to enable our clients to achieve their personal goals, learn new hobbies and live as independently as possible.
We are looking to recruit female healthcare assistants in Chelmsford with at least 12 months UK-based care experience and a full UK manual driving license to work with a female with an undiagnosed genetic disorder with elements of cerebral palsy. She lives at home with her mum and 2 dogs who are friendly but will bark at new people initially.

Role requirements:
We are looking for support workers with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role we require that you are confident in the following key skills:
5. Tracheostomy Care & Suctioning (Cuffed Tracheostomy)
6. Tracheostomy Tube Change
7. Ventilation via Tracheostomy
8. Care and use of Dual Port Gastro Jej
9. Change of Gastrostomy Buttons (emergency)
10. Must be able to drive and have a manual license
