Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and emails to identify new business opportunities and re-engage dormant accounts.
* Qualifying Leads: Assess customer needs, potential, and suitability before passing leads to the external sales team.
* Strategy Planning: Develop monthly SOAP (Strategy on a Page) plans and present updates to the internal team. Support the organization in implementing strategies aimed at driving growth.
* CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer interactions.
* Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitors, market trends, and customer feedback. Conduct market research to identify trends and insights to inform business strategies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align approaches and achieve growth targets. Collaborate with C-level, sales and marketing teams to align efforts and maximize outcomes.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
* Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients and partners.
* Create business proposals and negotiate contracts with new and existing clients.
* Monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify threats and opportunities.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and strategies.
* Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote company products and services.
* Develop and track key performance indicators to measure success.
* Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
* Prepare regular reports for upper management detailing business development progress.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in business dealings.
* Enhance the company's overall market position and achieve financial growth.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in business development or sales.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer demands.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing deals.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.
* Experience in preparing and presenting business proposals.
* Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
* Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events as required.
* Knowledge of industry-related trends and best practices.
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
* Master’s degree or relevant certifications (preferred) but not mandatory.
