Divisional Manager - Outpatient Transformation - Surgery
An opportunity to join a committed and dynamic team within the Surgery Division at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Divisional Manager for Outpatient Transformation you will work alongside Clinical and Nursing leads in developing and managing services to deliver quality care for our patients, across all Clinical Divisions within the organisation.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the ability to successfully engage with a broad range of teams, disciplines and staff across the Division to drive transformation in our Outpatient services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership, operational management, strategic business planning and project management to help ensure that the Division and wider Trust delivers and achieves its performance, quality and efficiency objectives, whilst delivering high standards of care to our patients.
You will have experience at service management level, experience of successfully delivering strategic transformation initiatives and will have led your teams to deliver high quality, cost effective patient care.
Main duties of the job
* To lead on Outpatient Transformation across the Trust, to guarantee enhance clinical effectiveness and productivity.
* To future proof Outpatient services @ Salisbury NHS FT, enabling and embedding digital solutions.
* To work with Clinical and Nursing Leads to use available resources effectively, efficiently and within agreed budgets.
* To be responsible for coordinating and promoting the integration of operational management, service planning and service delivery processes of the Division, to achieve agreed services levels for your areas of responsibility.
* To provide leadership which enables the delivery of high quality, safe and person centred care through the engagement and empowerment of others.

* 3-years senior NHS management
* Evidence of continuous improvement and service development methodology
* Evidence of leadership and line managerial capability
* Evidence of successful delivery against NHS operational performance standards
* Postgraduate Degree or relevant experience to Masters' level 2
* Evidence of networking/working across healthcare systems - public and private sector
* Further evidence of management/leadership training and continuous professional development
