The Role of a HGV Drainage Tanker Operator

We are actively recruiting for a HGV Tanker Drainage Engineer to join the PPM/Mobilisation team. The main purpose of this role is to visit various client sites, including industrial estates, retail parks, shopping centres, and office buildings to conduct drainage works for pre-planned maintenance and emergency response.
This is a full-time PAYE role, working a 50-hour week. Flexibility is key to success in this role, as you will need to accommodate early morning starts (e.g. 2am/3am/4am) and occasional overnight stays away from home. We take care of your accommodation expenses during these trips and provide you with a budget for meals.
Key Responsibilities of a HGV Drainage Tanker Operator
* Operating a HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
* Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
* Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
* Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation.
* Working with an assistant, ensuring all information is fed back correctly to the office.
* Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams in facilitating surveys, inspections, and detailed investigation works.
* Assisting with certifications and keeping them up to date.

* At least a year’s experience in the drainage industry.
* Class 2 license minimum.
