The Position
Are you an accomplished professional with a first experience in Procurement? We are actively seeking highly qualified individuals to take on the pivotal role of Multi-Country Buyer (m/f/x). This position has a key function in delivering operational excellence and strengthening the Procurement shared service operating model, whilst leading some tactical and strategic initiatives to support the ongoing procurement transformation. Key Responsibilities
1. Create and maintain Purchase Orders.
2. Proactively manage operational procurement activities to ensure procurement processes are performed efficiently and effectively in compliance with policies.
3. Execute purchasing activities for spend under ownership ( 50 kEur).
6. Assure that sourcing activities have been performed as per internal regulations (i.e., compliance checklist) and resolve any gaps.
7. Train organization on Procurement policy and processes.
8. Participate in the execution of Procurement monitoring activities.
9. Minimize the use of exceptions and gain proper approvals when exceptions are required.
10. Collaborate closely with local Finance and Compliance/Legal teams to ensure key compliance KPIs and quarterly control metrics are monitored and controlled.
11. Support the wider procurement shared services team as required.
12. Take active part in standardization and harmonization of processes and systems to ensure operations in Procurement remain effective and efficient.
13. Contribute to Procurement's success with regards to savings, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation and/or fulfilment of defined KPIs (e.g., ROSMA).
14. Conduct all activities in accordance with DSE policies & procedures as well as all relevant external regulations.
Education & Experience
* Master's degree in Procurement or related field/ Business Administration.
* 2 - 5 years working experience in Procurement. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
* Result driven, pro-active, and autonomous.
* Strong execution and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion.
* Organized, committed, and able to work well under pressure.
* Positive attitude and robust customer service orientation.
* Team player with very good communication skills.
* Able to think critically and challenge the status quo to pro-actively identify improvement opportunities.
* Excellent analytical skills, highly reliable, and a distinct aptitude to work accurately.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP MM, eSourcing, Procurement Suites.
* Uphold a high standard of integrity and intercultural competency.
