Responsibilities of Our Depot Managers:
* Team Leadership/People Management: Supervising all depot staff, providing training and support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Handle all aspects of people management.
* Health and Safety Management: Ensuring practices are up-to-date and followed by all employees, customers, and visitors.
* Fleet Management: Ensuring legal compliance is monitored and maintained.
* Sales: Evaluating local market conditions and identifying current and potential sales opportunities. Upsell products and services.
* Forecasting: Reviewing and assessing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
* Budget Management: Managing the set budget and allocating funds appropriately.
* Performance Management: Enhancing the performance of depot personnel through training, coaching, development, and motivation.
* Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely restocking, and minimising discrepancies.
* Logistics Coordination: Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
* Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety processes are followed, conducting regular safety checks, and addressing any issues promptly.
* Oversee all Depot operations: Including distribution, customer service, human resources, sales, and administration.
