Vacancy: Deputy Manager (Maternity Leave Cover) - start date Jan 2025
Salary: £34,000 pro rata
Hours: 30 per week
HMT Care Ltd is dedicated to the care of people with Huntington’s Disease and is looking for a Deputy Manager to cover Maternity Leave for a minimum of 7 months.
We are looking for someone who would like to continue their professional development and who has the following abilities:
1. Previous experience in a Deputy or Assistant Manager role.
2. Ability to act up in the absence of the Registered Manager.
3. Lead a team by example, motivate, actively listen, observe and direct the team.
4. Implement and role model HMT Care’s Policies and Procedures.
5. Ensure Care Plans and Risk Assessments are up to date and meet the needs of the people we support.
6. Deliver high standards of person-centred care and support as outlined in individual care plans and risk assessments.
7. Good communication skills with residents, staff, managers, relatives, friends and external professionals.
8. Demonstrate initiative with a solution-focused approach.
9. Good record-keeping skills.
10. Be on call every 4 weeks.
