The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by developing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities and providing necessary support to ensure smooth sales operations. Some experience of online or B2B sales would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Sales Duties:
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products.
* Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the features and benefits of products to gain sales.
* Establish and maintain customer relationships.
* Attend customer meetings and trade shows when required.
* Work to achieve assigned sales and margin targets.
* Liaise closely with Supply Chain team to ensure optimum stock availability
* Manage and update a customer database with contact details and key information.
* Provide reports and analysis to company management about sales results and opportunities.
* Coordinate with other teams internally and externally.
* Handle customer issues or concerns swiftly and professionally.
* Identify potential new customers and establish communication.
* Review the performance of your accounts and look for any gaps or potential product opportunities and promotions.
Administrative Duties:
· Answer trade customer telephone queries and emails
· Review stock levels
· Promotional planning
· Budget preparation
· Forecast management
· Review product range and implement changes
· Complete data requests from customers
· Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
Qualifications
Good excel and communication skills are essential, as well as being able to work independently.
Salary commensurate with experience.
