Swiis Training are offering an exciting opportunity for independent trainers to join the Swiis Training Team.
Our current in-house training team provides high-quality training to our foster carers, both virtually and face to face. Our training courses are recognised as exceptional, have been designed in-house, are updated annually and are CPD accredited.
As part of the independent training team, you will provide experience-related training to our foster carers. In addition, you will be expected to support our newly developed external training programme, providing training to external stakeholders who work within, or are affiliated to children’s services.
Trainers must have the relevant experience to deliver a wide range of our training, including but not limited to therapeutic parenting, attachment, child development, child sexual exploitation, safeguarding, mental health awareness, self-harm, equality and diversity.
Trainers are expected to utilise the training programmes designed by Swiis and will receive full guidance and training on their delivery.
The successful candidate will be comfortable delivering training via webinar and in a classroom environment; therefore, a reliable internet connection and a willingness to travel is essential.
Flexibility and availability on an ongoing basis will be required, during term time and occasional school holiday sessions and Saturdays.

3. A minimum of two years training delivery experience
4. Level 3 award Education and Training qualification (or similar)
5. Knowledge of childcare and fostering legislation
6. Willingness to work on a flexible and ongoing basis
7. Ability to work in the UK without visa restrictions
8. Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Check signed up to the update service (we will provide DBS check if you do not have this)
9. Experience of webinar training delivery is preferable
10. Weekly or bi-weekly availability
Independent Trainer Details and benefits:
1. Competitive daily training rate of £200 plus £35 per hour for administrative tasks such as course updates
2. Mileage expenses covered for face-to-face training
3. Full administrative and technical support from a dedicated training team
4. Full training provided on in-house training presentations
