Job Description
As Senior Risk Management Consultant you will provide leadership in risk management throughout the delivery of projects, ensuring that any risk management processes are in place and being complied with.
You will be required to have 3+ years experience in risk management, with at least 2 years experience of risk management activities on high value projects.
Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:
1. Designing and implementing risk management frameworks;
2. Overseeing risk and opportunity management in major project or programme environments to enable achievement of project goals and objectives;
3. Knowledge of risk management principles, methods, techniques, systems and toolkits;
4. Risk modelling, qualitative risk assessments, quantitative risk management;
5. Facilitating collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure consistency and transparency in approach and data;
6. Facilitating and driving the delivery of risk workshops;
7. The design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the defense, engineering or construction sectors;
8. Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across an organisation, influencing the improvement of processes and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
9. Relies on advanced knowledge, within the scope of the position and often handles moderately complex tasks.
10. May review work of other employees and resolve any identified issues unilaterally or with the assistance of a Manager.
11. Advises and participates in the planning, development of strategy and policy related to discipline.
12. Works under limited supervision or general direction.
13. May carry out and provide reporting for special projects with limited supervision.
Qualifications
* Required to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject e.g., engineering, project management, risk management, cost and commercial management etc.
