Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of education when regular teachers are absent. You will be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they stay on task, and providing a supportive environment for learning. You will ensure that students follow the teacher's instructions, complete tasks, and behave appropriately. Key Responsibilities: Supervise students during lessons in the absence of their regular teacher. Ensure students engage with assigned work and complete tasks to the best of their ability. Manage student behaviour in line with school policies and expectations. Support the teaching staff in maintaining an effective and productive classroom environment. Provide feedback to teachers regarding student behaviour, progress, and completion of work. Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom resources, as needed. Help maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere in the school. Key Requirements: Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent classroom management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
