Due to the continued growth within THREE60 Energy, an opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) 33kV. The primary purpose of the role is to provide SAP services on a range of HV operations and maintenance contracts in onshore wind, with support given to construction projects as and when required. The job will also involve marine energy, wave & tidal, and emerging technologies including hydrogen production and battery storage. The ideal candidate will undertake operational and technical safety duties associated with the ongoing operation and maintenance (including commissioning) of projects. Due to the requirement of working on Wind Farms, you will require relevant climbing qualifications (GWO) or be prepared to undertake the relevant training provided by the company. It is intended that the role will develop into construction and asset replacement projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for customers' HV private networks and provide switching services and issuing of permits to meet customer needs and contractual requirements.
* Accurate execution of operational schedules on site and safety documentation issued where appropriate.
* Ability to carry out testing and commissioning works on HV cable systems including pressure testing, VLF testing, and sheath integrity testing.
* Ability to undertake hands-on maintenance activities and manage small remedial works in remote locations.

Competence Requirements
* HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential)
* SAP experience on HV systems of between 3.3 and 33 kV
* Asbestos UKARTA (preferred but not essential – the company can provide)
* IOSH Working Safely or equivalent safety training (preferred but not essential – the company can provide)
Skills & Experience
* Have a background working with electrical protection systems and maintenance on onshore wind turbines and/or offshore oil & gas and/or marine.
* Experience in providing SAP services to wind farms and other private or DNO/iDNO networks.
* Be fully flexible and able to travel across parts of the UK with multiple overnight stays at short notice.
* Be willing to be trained up to work with SF6 gas – the company to provide courses and training.
STATUS CODES:
Essential requirement that must be met before a candidate is appointed unless approved by the Operations Manager.
Desirable requirement. Candidate may be appointed, with discretion, without full achievement of criterion but the indicated competence should be developed.
