Job summary
Working in partnership with our HR team, you will be required to deliver the Human Resources people agenda. Partnering with departmental managers to deliver a comprehensive service that contributes to the development of a high performance workforce.
Key responsibilities:
- Completing gap analysis through reviewing current department competency levels
- Manage and review the Port of Dover Apprenticeship and Graduate Programmes
- Source learning and development programmes and initiatives
- Manage the Performance Management Process (appraisal) ensuring our people have structured and stretched objectives.
- Manage positive relationships with Educational Institution Partners to utilise the knowledge and experience of academics and students to support various projects and placements.
- Develop, deliver and manage induction programmes
Skills and Qualifications
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent learning and development qualification.
* Experience in analysing development needs and designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development projects and programmes.
* Proven experience of managing Apprenticeships and Graduate schemes
* Experience in evaluating learning programmes and analysing results to identify value add.
* Proficient in sourcing and ability to identifying HR training and development programmes with line managers by considering immediate and long-term skill requirements
* Proven experience of working with educational partnerships
* Good user skills in Microsoft 365
* Ability to multitask
