Responsibilities:
Level Infinite is Tencent’s global gaming brand. It is a global game publisher offering a comprehensive network of services for games, development teams, and studios around the world. Level Infinite also provides a wide range of services and resources to our network of developers and partner studios around the world to help them unlock the true potential of their games.
We are seeking a charismatic Brand Marketing Director to drive our brand vision and lead Level Infinite's brand equity building across the globe.
What you will do:
1. Lead our Level Infinite Brand marketing strategy from setting brand vision, brand positioning, and global campaign roadmap to the go-to-market execution.
2. Articulate our brand strategy for each target audience (B2B, B2C, and internal employees).
3. Facilitate information flow and work collaboration among different regions and teams to ensure the successful global release of projects.
4. Allocate publishing resources effectively, including human and budget resources across various regions and functions.
5. Implement data-driven and efficient management practices to enhance project efficiency and data performance.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams at Tencent and with external partners/agencies ensuring projects progress to successful completion.
7. Be accountable for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) including brand awareness, Level Infinite Pass subscribers, retention rates, and other metrics related to events or campaign beats.
8. Leverage all our studios' great games and work with internal teams across the globe, including frequent international travel.
9. Drive quality in a collaborative and constructive way.
10. Design and run market and consumer research studies to identify and measure market opportunities and define brand positioning.
11. Establish effective processes for project tracking.
12. Develop strong relationships to maintain a reliable and timely flow of information and materials to all parties as necessary.
13. Analyze competitive products and brands to make recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
1. 10+ years of brand marketing, product management, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven track record of building large successful video game brands that resonate globally.
3. Excellent understanding of what is required to build and deliver high-performing video games to market.
4. Understanding and experience of corporate brand building is a plus.
5. A passion for games and a keen eye for market trends and data.
6. An open and flexible mindset, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
7. Able to work on projects with some ambiguity.
8. Excellent English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
9. Possess cultural awareness for both Chinese and Western cultures.
10. Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, self-drive, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
11. Be resilient to pressure and capable of managing work across different time zones.
12. Prior experience in large-scale multinational projects is preferred.
13. Relocation support will be provided to selected candidates from other regions.
